Rare genuine WWII US Army holster, designed for parachute troops and intended for carrying the folding-stock USM1A1 Carbine during the jump. Manufactured by Atlas Awning and 1943.

The present canvas case is in good overall condition; the outer surfaces shows sludge stains applied for camouflage purposes.
