Great genuine WWII US Army M1942 parachute jumper jacket, made in wind- and water-resistant cotton cloth, introduced in December 1941 and intended for being worn with matching trousers. This type features slanted breast pockets for easier access to contents.
The present coat is in very good overall condition and retains its original waist belt; all snap fasteners and Conmar and Serval zippers are in working order. All four patch pockets have been reinforced with an additional seam.
