June 1944.
Overlord, a large-scale operation in Normandy planned by the Allies, was to prove decisive in the outcome of the Second World War.
At the heart of this epic battle, four closely linked destinies - those of four young men of three different nationalities, all originally born from the same Norman family and ready and willing to fight to liberate Europe from the stranglehold of the Axis Powers.
In the midst of this conflict, the Lebreton family: Jules, Mireille and their seven children, find themselves in the throes of the turbulent arrival of Europe’s long-awaited liberators, participating - in their own way - in the Allied victory.
