Badge, Women's Land Service, New Zealand
€65.00
Tax included
Very nice genuine WWII New Zealand brass badge, worn by volunteers of the Women's Land Service. Following the British example, the New Zealand Women Land's Army was created in 1940. The organisation, which became the New Zealand Women's Land Service in 1942, comprised up to 2,700 female auxiliaries who provided the country's agricultural workforce needed to replace the men called up to the military.
The badge was to be worn on the beret or tie. Pin back in working condition.
