Rare genuine WWII British map, Hyères-Porquerolles, First Edition, Sheet No. XXXIV-46, scale 1:50,000. Bilingual legend (English-French).

This map covers a small perimeter extending east of Hyères and including the eponymous archipelago -- Porquerolles, Port-Cros, île de Bagaud and île du Levant --, which was stormed by the First Special Service Force on August 15, 1944.

Edited by the General Staff-Geographical Section of the War Office in 1944 and based on a French map of 1941.
