Nice genuine WWII British Type D flying gauntlets, wool-lined russet leather.
Though initially intended for being used along with the electrically-heated suit, these gauntlets were soon to be worn by Royal Air Force pilots and aircrews over a pair of silk or rayon gloves.
The label present in the left gauntlet indicates size 9 1/2, while the one visible in the right gauntlet indicates size 9.
Very good overall condition.
