Cap Badge, The Monmouthshire Regiment, Normandy

Genuine WWII British cap badge of the The Monmouthshire Regiment, to be worn on the GS cap.

The 2nd Battalion were part of the 160th (Welsh) Infantry Brigade, 53rd (Welsh) Infantry Division, which landed in Normandy on June 28, 1944 and took part in the Battle of Hill 112.

Those battalions subsequently fought throughout the whole Battle of Normandy.
