Lot of two genuine WWII Allied maps, St. Hilaire, First Edition (Feb. 1944), Sheet No. 31/10 S.W., and Avranches [...]. Scale 1:25,000.
The towns of Avranches and Saint-Hilaire-du-Harcouët, both located in the Southern part of the Cotentin Peninsula in Normandy, France, were respectively liberated by elements of the 4th Armored Division on July 31, 1944, and of the 90th Infantry Division on August 2, 1944.
