Extremely scarce genuine WWII British No. 6 Commando shoulder title. Embroidered version.
This unit participated in the raid on Norway in December 1941 and later distinguished itself during Operation Torch in December 1942 in North Africa.
On June 6, 1944, it landed at Sword Beach with the 1st Special Service Brigade and continued fighting throughout the Normandy campaign. Afterward, it advanced into Belgium and the Netherlands.
