Genuine WWII British despatch rider's helmet, manufactured by BMB (Briggs Motor Bodies, Dagenham, England) and dated 1942.
Size 7.
The outer surface of the shell shows a white strip around the circumference, and a red rectangle bearing white initials M.P. on the front, indicating that the helmet saw service with the Military Police.
Complete and in quite good, worn condition. The right side of the chinstrap is damaged.
