Grenade, No. 69, Mk I, 1940
€295.00
Tax included
Very nice and scarce genuine WWII British grenade No. 69 Mk I, bakelite. This percusssion-type hand grenade was filled with a 92 g explosive charge. Seeing service with British and Commonwealth forces, it proved to be less effective than other offensive grenades and was soon adopted as an 'artillery simulator' for training purposes. The No. 69 was withdrawn from service following the end of the war.
Complete with cap and cloth tape, the present grenade retains most of its markings. Dated 1940.
This deactivated grenade is empty and totally inert.
THIS ITEM IS NOT SHIPPED OUT OF FRANCE.
