Genuine WWII British Small Pack, 1937 Pattern, used as a medical pouch. A white disc bearing a red cross has been painted on the front.
Dated 1944.
This webbing haversack features three internal compartments for personal equipment. Troops would carry it either as a backpack thanks to detachable suspenders -- not included here -- or as musette bag thanks to a shoulder strap, as seen here.
