Cap Badge, 16th/5th Queen's Royal Lancers, North Africa & Italy

Genuine WWII British cap badge of the 16th/5th Queen's Royal Lancers.

During the conflict, the 16th/5th Lancers fought as an armored regiment in North Africa from 1941 to 1943, where they took part in the Battle of El Alamein and the Tunisian Campaign.

They were later deployed to Italy from 1943 to 1945 and participated in the Battle of Monte Cassino.

The left side spearhead is broken.
