Genuine WWII US Army M1910 T-shovel canvas cover, British-made, dated 1943. This type was attached to the M1936 belt, M1928 haversack, or assault jacket.
Very good overall condition. Name S. Panyko and ASN 32700316 have been written at the back.
Sigmund Panyko was born on September 2, 1912 in Passaic, New Jersey and joined the US Army on January 6, 1943. He deployed to Europe with the 3528th Ordnance Medium Automotive Maintenance Company and was discharged on November 16, 1945 as a Technician 4th Grade. He passed away on August 23, 1972.
