Genuine WWII US Army shelter-half tent, dated 1942, of the early type -- manufacturer's name is hardly legible.

As part of his issue, every GI had a shelter-half, usually rolled into the M1928 haversack's pack carrier. A two-man tent could be pitched by buttoning together two similar pieces.

Good overall condition; comes along with its three-part mast and five wooden pegs.
