

Nice genuine WWII Canadian Mk II helmet, complete with original liner and early type chinstrap. Shell manufactured by CLC (Canadian Lamp Company, Windsor, Ontario) and dated 1941. Liner is hallmarked VMC (Viceroy Manufacturing Company, Toronto, Ontario) and dated 1940. Size 6 3/4.
Very good overall condition. The outer surface of the shell has been covered with a layer of dark grey paint, which may indicate that the present helmet saw service with the Royal Canadian Navy. A series of digits, which may correspond to a service number, is visible under the brim of the present helmet.
