Scarce genuine WWII Canadian shoulder title, The Regina Rifle Regiment. To be worn on the sleeves of the battledress blouse, printed version. NOS condtion.

Recruited in Saskatchewan, this young regiment fought valiantly during the Great War.

On June 6, 1944, the 'Regina John's' landed in the first wave on Juno Beach (Nan Green) as part of the 7th Canadian Infantry Brigade, 3rd Canadian Infantry Division and kept fighting throughout the whole Battle of Normandy, participating in violent actions against the 12. SS-Panzerdivision 'Hitlerjugend' at Bretteville-l'Orgueilleuse.
