The Kent Regiment did not deploy overseas as a unit during World War II but was actively engaged in coastal defense duties in Nova Scotia and British Columbia. Additionally, it provided reinforcements to several Ontario units serving abroad, most notably The Essex Scottish, particularly following the Dieppe Raid.
