Cutters, Wire, US Army, H.K. PORTER, INC., Engineer Squad Demolition Chest

Genuine WWII US Army wire cutters, of the large type used for clearing the way through barbed wire. Issued in the Engineer Squad Demolition Chest.

This version was intended for the Corps of Engineers, manufactured by H.K. Porter, Inc. in Everett, Massachusetts. The handles feature a thick, isolating rubber coat. 

Complete and in quite good, used condition.
