Report of Delinquency, T/5 Horace Frey, 893rd Ordnance Co., Sainte-Mère-Eglise, 1945
Interesting genuine WWII US Army Report of Delinquency, dated July 23, 1945, filed against Technician 5th Grade Horace Frey, ASN 33185889, 893rd Ordnance Company, 'for having no bumper markings on his vehicle.' He was booked and released soon after. The action took place in Sainte-Mère-Eglise, Normandy, France.
One-sheet typed file, bearing mention 'Restricted'. Quite good overall condition.
Horace Albert Frey was born on April 24, 1921 in West Bowmans, Pennsylvania and joined the US Army on July 13, 1942. He was discharged on February 25, 1946 and subsequently served again from October 21, 1950 to September 9, 1951, reaching the rank of Master Sergeant. He passed away on March 10, 1990.
