Lot of genuine WWII US Army personal documents, which belonged to Major Percival N. Churchill (ASN O-288114) and made up as follows:
- operator's license issued in 1941 at Camp Folk, Louisiana; - motor vehicle operator's permit issued on December 13, 1944 and valid for every single type of vehicle in service; - cigarette purchase permit issued in 1944 at Fort Knox, Kentucky; - motor vehicle operator's license issued at Fort Knox, Kentucky in 1944; - business card indicating his occupation (professional gunsmith).
Percival Newton Churchill was born on December 17, 1909 in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts and joined the US Army on February 10, 1941. He was discharged as a Lieutenant Colonel on April 17, 1946 and passed away on February 25, 1984.
Scarce genuine WWII American Field Service application form, intended for volunteers who wished to join the ranks of the organization as ambulance drivers in France.
The present blank form is quite good overall condition and comes with a carbon copy of the 'Memorandum in connection with the letters of recommendation which will be required of each volunteer'.

Nice genuine interwar period photograph, showing two policemen posing with some Harley-Davidson motorcycle and sidecar. The ink stamp visible at the back indicates that the present picture was taken by Ernest Bihler, a commercial photographer established in Omaha, Nebraska in 1919.
