Dog Tags, S/Sgt. Stephen Calek, USAAF, ETO

Lot of three genuine WWII US Army dog tags, issued to Stephen R. Kalek, ASN 33354771, vaccinated against tetanus in 1942, 1943 and 1944, blood type O, Catholic. The present tags were found along with dozens of others on the site of a former USAAF air base in Kent, England in the 1980s.
Stephen Richard Kalek was born on February 10, 1913 in Hazletown, Pennsylvania and joined the US Army Air Forces on September 24, 1942. He deployed to Europe from November 15, 1943 to October 24, 1945 and was discharged four days later as a Staff Sergeant. He passed away on December 29, 2002.
