Genuine WWII US Army grouping, made up of six pairs of dog tags -- including two pairs of the early production Monel type -- and three russet leather name tags.
This homogeneous set once belonged to some Marcus W. Ayers, ASN 32565658, vaccinated against tetanus in 1942, 1943 and 1944, blood type O, Protestant, who lived on 166 Maple Avenue, Irvington, New Jersey.
Marcus William Ayers was born on June 22, 1905 in Summit, New Jersey and joined the US Army on October 16, 1942. He passed away on March 23, 1978.
