Leo Marcus Alt (sometimes erroneously spelled Lee) was born on August 21, 1923 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and joined the Air Corps on May 25, 1942. He deployed from July 4, 1942 to August 3, 1944, serving as an aerial gunner aboard anti-submarine patrol aircraft. He was discharged as a Sergeant on October 24, 1945 and passed away on November 5, 2007.

The Code provides additional penalties, including the confiscation of the items used or intended for committing the offence.
