Nice genuine WWII US Army dog tag, issued to some Barbara F. Abbott, ASN A-309694, vaccinated against tetanus in 1943 and 1944, blood type A, Protestant.
Barbara Frances Savage was born on August 4, 1921 in Danville, Virginia and married William Abbott on April 19, 1942. She joined the US Army on February 12, 1943 and deployed to Europe for six months during the year 1945, where she went on to serve as General Dwight D. Eisehower's secretary.
She was discharged as a Sergeant First Class, and later married her second husband, William Robison, in 1949; she passed away on February 28, 1993 and was buried under this name.
