Ernest Arthur Brown was born on November 7, 1909 in Fremont, Nebraska and joined the Air Corps on February 28, 1941. He went on to serve as a mechanic and deployed to North Africa, Italy, and France with 27th Fighter Group, 12th Air Force, where he was in charge of maintaining the various types of aicraft with which his unit flew throughout the campaign -- P-51 Mustang, P-40 Warhawk and P-47 Thunderbolt. He was discharged as a Master Sergeant on October 13, 1945, and passed away on October 20, 1996.

The Code provides additional penalties, including the confiscation of the items used or intended for committing the offence.
