Pair of genuine WWII US Army dog tags, issued to some  Rockwell, James C., ASN 33694661, vaccinated against tetanus in 1943 and 1944, blood type O, Protestant, with name and address of next-of-kin -- here, his spouse.

Nice homogeneous set, in very good overall condition, coming along with its original bead chains bearing a 1 franc coin minted by the French Republic in 1915.

James Clark Rockwell was born on February 20, 1907 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania and joined the US Army on June 28, 1943. He went on to serve with 717th Railway Operating Battalion and deployed from May 12, 1944 to November 5, 1945. He was discharged on November 12 of that year as a Sergeant, and passed away on November 20, 1988.
