Genuine WWII US Army GP (General Purpose) bag, with hardly-legible production markings.
This heavy canvas bag, intended for containing ammuntion and grenades, could be carried as a musette bag or as a backpack.
Quite good, used condition; retains its British-made shoulder sling, manufactured by M.E. Co. and dated 1944.
Homogeneous set, found in Normandy.
