Genuine WWII US Army packboard, 2nd pattern, made in shaped plywood and fitted with a wide canvas panel attached on both side. This type was introduced as a simpler alternative to the earlier Yukon Packboard.
Manufactured by American Seating Co. and dated 1945.
Widely used to carry heavy and bulky loads such as ammo crates, rations, jerrycans, crew-served weapons, medical equipment, and other various supplies.
Complete and in quite good overall condition.
