Issued in lieu of the haversack to officers and other personnel such as airborne troops and armored crews.
Good overall condition; mention T/4 Ray Szweda and ASN 35926344 have been written on the flap.
Raymond V. Szweda was born on August 10, 1925 in Cleveland, Ohio in a Polish family and joined the US Army on January 15, 1944. He was discharged as a Technician 4th Grade, and later passed away on March 13, 2007.
