Pack, Field, M-1943, dated 1943

Genuine WWII US Army M1943 Field Pack, intended for replacing the M1928 haversack.

A variation of the 1942 Field Pack, this model was the final version, slightly roomier, and made in green material. Issued in some quantity in Europe in 1944, it was finally superseded by the two-part combat pack in late 1944. 

Dated 1943.

Quite good overall condition. Snap hooks and Prentice zipper are in working order.
