Rare genuine WWII American Red Cross volunteer's uniform for female personnel, made up of a slim-fitted blue flannel jacket with matching skirt and cap.
The jacket retains all original buttons and insignia -- purple ribbon epaulets (specific to the Home Service Corps), American Red Cross Service shoulder sleeve insignia, American Red Cross Volunteer badge, ARC World War II brooch, and three Service Stripes. Shoulder width: 15.1in. Sleeve length: 21.2in.
Made in the same cloth, the skirt also retains its button zipper (in working order). Waist size corresponds to 27.
The original Sterling enamel badge is still present on the visor cap, which corresponds to size 6 ¾.
Amazing homogeneous set, in good overall condition.
