Nice pair of genuine WWII US Army Shoe Pacs, of the early production type featuring a 16-inch high top.
Made up of oiled leather and rubber enveloping soles, these boots were intended for being worn with thick wool socks and removable insulating soles (not included here), thus providing the infantry with some much appreciated footwear when deployed on muddy, swampy, or snow-covered terrain.
A shorter version, introduced in 1944, became quite popular during the Battle of the Bulge.
Homogeneous pair in quite good, worn condition. Size 10.
