Set of two genuine WWI French Army Mle 1886 bayonets, intended for the Lebel rifle. This cruciform sword bayonet, which was introduced in 1886, has become quite popular under the name 'Rosalie'.
This version is known as the Mle 1886/15: various specificities, such as the absence of lower guard hook, show that it was manufactured after 1915.
Blade length: 20.5in.
One of these bayonets comes along with its original scabbard.
Homogeneous lot, in used condition.
