Rare genuine WWII German assault pack (Sturmgepäck), made up of a heavy duty canvas trapezoidal frame featuring leather straps with pin buckles, intended for carrying the mess kit, canvas pouch with accessories, and rolled poncho and blanket, thanks to the leather suspenders -- not included here.
The present A-frame is in good overall condition and retains its original olive drab canvas pouch (complete with all buttons) dated 1941.
