Rare genuine pre-WWII German M30 gas mask, size 2, complete with FE 37 filter cartridge, original lenses and head straps. Dated 1937. The Luftwaffe ink stamp is clearly visible on the inner surface of the mask itself.
Comes in its original canister (large size: 10.9in), hallmarked Prestag and dated 1940, which retains its main canvas straps along with most of its original grey paint. All hinges are in working order. A pair of spare lenses is still present in the small compartment intended for that purpose.
Inscription Th. is visible on top of the lid, while name Thomschke and markings 22/1 have been written with the same black paint under the canister.
Nice and homogeneous set in good, used condition.
