Rare genuine WWII German Luftwaffe other ranks field cap of the M40 Feldmütze type made in blue-grey wool.
Manufactured by Uniformen u. Mützen in Koblenz, Rhineland-Palatinate in 1941. Size 55 ½ (close to U.S. 7).
Both the eagle and the cockade are still present.
Quite good, worn condition; a few small moth holes are worthy of note on the left rear side.
