Genuine WWII German bayonet for Mauser 98k, manufactured by E.u.F. Hörster in Solingen and dated 1944 -- see hallmark 44 asw.
Serial number 597[...] is visible on the ricasso. Bakelite grips. Locking system is in working order. The blade has been rather well preserved.
Comes in some original steel scabbard, bearing number 198 a.
Nice set, in quite good overall condition.
