Nice genuine WWII German bayonet for Mauser 98k, manufactured by Carl Eickhorn in Solingen and dated 1942 (see hallmark 42 cof).
Serial number 8757 x is clearly visible on the ricasso; walnut grips; locking system is in working order.
Comes in its original steel scabbard, along with a blackened-leather bayonet frog; markings stamped on the scabbard are identical to those present on the blade (42 cof and 8757 x).
Rare homogeneous set, in rather good overall condition. The blade has been particularly well preserved.
