Goggles, Flying, Polaroid, Type B-8, USAAF, in Box

Genuine WWII USAAF Type B-8 Polaroid flying goggles, intended for aircrews. Offering a wide field of vision, this black molded-rubber type soon became popular in other branches of service, such as armored crews.

In good overall condition, the present goggles come with a cloth pouch containing various spare lenses -- clear (standard vision), green (to be used in sunny weather), and amber (designed for hazy conditions).

Homogeneous set, coming along with instruction leaflet and original cardboard box.
