Nice genuine WWII US Army Other Ranks Garrison Cap, OD wool, featuring the red and yellow piping of the Ordnance Department.
Label is dated October 15, 1941. Size 7 ¼.
Excellent overall condition; mention T/Sgt Harry Keys and laundry number K4217 have been written on the sweatband.
Harry Chandler Keys was born on January 26, 1914 in Briggsdale, Ohio and joined the US Army on June 19, 1942. He deployed to Europe with 98th Ordnance Base Depot Company and was discharged on November 24, 1945 as a First Sergeant. He passed away on October 1st, 1981.
