Great genuine WWII US Distinguished Flying Cross Medal, coming in its original case. The ribbon features an Oak Leaf Cluster, indicating that he medal was awarded twice. The DFC was established in the Air Corps Act in 1926 and was mostly awarded to airmen of the United States Army Air Forces for heroism or extraordinary achievement while participating in an aerial flight.
