Disk, Collar, 181st Massachusetts Inf. Regt.

Genuine WWII US Army 181st Infantry Regiment collar disk, to be worn on service dress.

This Massachusetts raised regiment remained in the United States until 1943, where it served as an integral unit of the Eastern Defense Command. It was deactivated that same year and its members were sent to Italy, where they were reassigned to the 3rd, 34th and 36th Infantry Divisions.
