Genuine WWII US Seventh Army Corps (VII Corps) shoulder patch -- second type, which appeared on April 28, 1944.
On D-Day, VII Corps was in charge of the operations on Utah Beach, whilst V Corps was in charge of Omaha Beach. On this occasion, the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions were attached to VII Corps.
