Knife, Trench, USM3, IMPERIAL on Blade, with USM8 Scabbard, 1st Type, Normandy

Genuine WWII USM3 trench knife, manufactured by Imperial, hallmarked on blade and featuring the Ordnance Department flaming bomb stamped on pommel cap. 

Comes in its original USM8 bakelite scabbard of the early, hookless type, hallmarked B.M. Co. Snap fastener of the securing strap is in working order.

Nice homogeneous set, in quite good overall condition. Found in Normandy.
