Rare genuine WWI US Army M1918 Trench Knife, featuring the characteristic knuckle cast handle and double-edged blade.
Manufactured by L.F.& C. and dated 1918,
This type was widely issued to US Rangers, Marines and paratroops during WWII, until officially superseded by the USM3 in 1943. However, many warriors would still prefer the M1918 Trench Knife, as seen in numerous wartime photos.
Quite good overall condition; the blade is still sharp and well preserved.
Comes in its original metal scabbard, also hallmarked L.F.& C. and dated 1918.
