Helmet, M1, Vietnam War, with Mitchell Cover, 1965-1969

Very nice genuine Vietnam War US Army M1 helmet, rear seam and swivel loops. Shell number 1 1055 A. The original 2nd type canvas chinstrap, featuring steel hook and buckle, is still present. It comes with its original liner, retaining its OD cotton web suspension dated March 19, 1969, russet leather sweatband also dated 1969, and black-painted A washers. 

Homogeneous set in quite good, worn condition, which comes with a genuine US Army Mitchell Pattern reversible camouflage helmet cover, Vietnam War era. Contract number indicates year of production 1965.
