Genuine Korean War period US Army M1 helmet, front seam and swivel loops, manufactured by McCord, shell number 1269B.
Original OD 7 canvas chinstrap with steel buckle and hook -- the right-hand side shows some signs of repair. A white Latin Cross has been painted on the front of the shell.
Comes with its original liner, manufactured by Firestone, retaining its khaki cotton web suspension and neckband, plain A washers, and leather chinstrap. A dark green Latin Cross has been painted on the outer surface, which has been covered with a layer of light green.
Homogeneous set in quite good, worn condition.
