Original green canvas chinstrap with steel buckle and hook.
Retains its original liner, of the specific type intended for airborne troops, retaining its cotton web suspension and neckband dated 1973, russet leather sweatband, black-painted A washers, A yokes, chinstrap and chin cup.
This assembly comes along with a Mitchell Pattern reversible camouflage helmet cover, showing a contract number which corresponds to the year 1970; an elastic band, intended for carrying small accessories or various camouflage devices, is still present.
Rare homogeneous and complete set, in very good overall condition.
