Liner, Helmet, M1, Commander, US Navy, Named

Genuine WWII US M1 helmet liner, manufactured by Seaman Paper Co., retaining its original light khaki straps and leather sweatband.

The present liner features blackened-brass A washers. Name Wiener has been hand-painted on the front, under three horizontal bars corresponding to the rank of Commander in the US Navy. The right side shows remnants of some non-identifed sticker.

Good, used condition.
